Annotation:
The prevailing niche in the global fuel and energy complex is currently occupied by hydrocarbons – oil and gas. The key role in the production, storage and transportation as well as processing of oil and gas is assigned to oil and gas equipment. The most widely known technological method for the implementation of reliable permanent connections in the design of oil and gas equipment is welding. The authors of the article analyze the specific features of welding methods and quality control by diagnostic methods of leading representatives of oil and gas facilities in the industry: main pipelines, drill bits and oil and gas tanks. The conducted comparative analysis of the information array allowed combining the qualitative characteristics of objects, the corresponding domestic and foreign standards with possible welding methodsin a tabular form, thus increasing the requirements to the quality of production of oil and gas equipment and its competitiveness.
