Annotation:
The authors of the article describe a method for limiting water inflow using a composition with enhanced hydrophobizing properties. The mining and geological conditions of gas fields in Western Siberia are considered. Taking these features into account, a hydrophobizing composition with enhanced water-repellent properties based on an organoelement hydrophobizer has been developed. The action of the hydrophobizing composition for limiting water inflow is based on the creation of a strong adsorption film with the presence of in homogeneities (roughness) on its surface, providing increased hydrophobic properties to the treated reservoir. The chemistry of film formation with the surface of the formation rock is considered. The results of laboratory studies of the hydrophobizing composition are presented, reflecting the dependence of the hydrophobizing capacity and the time of water filtration through the core on the concentration of the modifying additive. A comparison of the values of the surface wetting contact angle treated by the hydrophobizing composition, without using the modifying additive and with it, is given, the dependence of the contact angle on the morphology of the surface of the formed adsorption film is shown.
