Annotation:
The volume of exploratory and industrial drilling of wells for various purposes is constantly increasing in the world. The problems of mechanical drilling are low well drilling speeds, low reliability and service life of working tools (drill bits), especially when drilling hard and very hard rocks. A special problem is the drilling of large-diameter wells (more than 300 mm). Traditional drilling methods have almost exhausted the possibilities of significantly increasing the productivity (speed) of drilling. Therefore, a search for fundamentally new drilling methods is underway. The electric pulse drilling method, based on the destruction of rocks during their electric pulse breakdown is one of them. Thus, the choice of this topic is caused by the relevance of the problem, the prospects of the electric pulse drilling technology and the necessity of developing recommendations for the effective use of this technology in complex mining and geological conditions. The main objective of the work is to study the feasibility and effectiveness of using the electric pulse drilling method in comparison with the mechanical ones. The main task is to calculate electric pulse drilling in the Kamchatka field.
