Annotation:

Concentrated metallferous natural brines of the hydromineral province of the Siberian platform, saturating deep-lying inter-salt carbonate productive strata and moving during production from the bottomhole to the wellhead, opening intervals of permafrost or low-temperature rocks in the geological section, are super-cooled and undergo a temperature phase transition. The consequence of this phenomenon is contamination of the well equipment by solid formations, partial or complete blockage of the column space by precipitated salts and a decrease or complete cessation of natural brine output from the well. Salts precipitation of in the column and salt plugs formation do not allow for a high-quality study of the formation, well development and brines further borehole production. The non-equilibrium of extremely saturated brines is the main argument for classifying this type of lithium-bearing hydraulic-mineral raw materials as hard-to-recover reserves (HRR). The authors of the article collected production geological-field data on the deep wells development in the south of the Siberian platform. Statistical studies have been conducted. Wells development data obtained from brine-bearing inter-salt reservoirs with abnormally high formation pressure (AHRP) have been analyzed. The causes of wells development negative results in conditions of exposed brine-bearing AHRP formations have been identified. A number of measures are recommended for ensuring trouble-free wells development in conditions of brine-bearing AHPP formations penetrated by drilling. These measures prevent salt crystallization from extremely saturated natural brines during their extraction from a well.
