Annotation:

Taking into account the importance of developing "green" technologies for most areas of the oil industry, the creation of innovative solutions in the field of drilling fluids to improve the efficiency and quality of drilling oil and gas wells is of great economic importance. Based on the research, the advantages of using plant components are presented. In particular, the technology for preparing a number of tannin-containing reagents proposed in the 60–70s, as well as the modern technology for obtaining a tannin reagent, attracts attention. The author of the article discusses the "Absheron-2T" reagent production based on plant resources containing high-molecular organic compounds with active functional groups with high surface activity to be used for chemical treatment of drilling fluids. It was revealed that drilling fluids treated by the "Apsheron-2T" reagent are characterized by adjustable colloidal and structural-rheological parameters. The alkaline properties of the "Apsheron-2T" reagent allow reducing the caustic soda consumption when treating drilling fluids during drilling. It was revealed that drilling fluids treated by the "Apsheron-2T" reagent are heat- and salt-resistant. The technology of drilling fluids treatment based on an environmentally friendly reagent can be widely implemented in oil and gas fields in future.
