The purpose of the monitoring systems is to implement automated monitoring and analysis of the operational parameters of turbocompressor equipment, allowing the management and operational personnel of operating organizations to have objective information about the efficiency of the turbocompressor equipment and its technical state. At present, automated monitoring systems are designed to determine the current technical state or assess the quality of repairs and ensure the safety of operation within the assigned operational life-time. When solving the problem of extending the service life of equipment, beyond the design life of its operational life-time, including the most loaded parts and assemblies, it is necessary to perform a set of works on diagnostics, non-destructive and destructive testing, calculation and experimental work on strength, taking into account the degradation of material properties in order to determine the ultimate resource and timely replacement of such parts and assemblies in a planned manner. Carrying out such extended surveys significantly increases the cost of the industrial safety examination procedure and does not provide a full guarantee of safe operation beyond the assigned resource. Therefore, one of the main functions of modern automated monitoring systems being created within the framework of the industrial safety examination procedure should be the process of monitoring changes in the technical state of units that have worked out their limiting operational life-time, and parts and assemblies the operational life-time of which is less than the operational life-time of the equipment as a whole.
