ESTIMATION OF THE POSSIBILITY OF OPTIMIZING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BAZHENOVSKY FORMATION FIELDS BY MEANS OF HYDROPHOBIZING COMPOUNDS

Annotation:

The problem of the efficiency of hard-to-recover oil reserves development is nowadays very urgent. For example, a certain part of producing wells stock can work below its potential caused by the water saturation increase of the bottomhole formation zone. In turn, the water saturation increase is caused by the negative impact of process fluids that occupy low-permeability intervals of the formation and after the well is put into operation remain stationary, thereby reducing the productivity of the well by lowering the phase permeability of oil. Rather often, this phenomenon can be observed in low-permeable hydrophilic reservoirs, for example, in deposits of fields related to the Bazhenov formation. The paper studies the effect of water saturation and the nature of bottomhole zone wettability on hydrocarbons inflow. The authors of the paper performed the necessary analytical calculations describing the results of the hydrophobizing compositions impact on the bottomhole zone, based on both field data and the results of laboratory studies. The theoretical basis for calculations is the curves of relative phase permeabilities.
