Annotation:
The article considers the main results of theoretical and full-scale experiment on static loading of a tubular plastic element by concentrated transversely applied forces. As a result of obtaining separate experimental data, a number of diagrams subject to testing of tubular elements with clearly marked so-called "double" yield points in the wP1 plane, and less expressed in the wP2 plane were revealed. The data obtained indicate significant discrepancies in the expected and obtained results of field experiments and can claim to identify a new physical phenomenon that is not considered in the course of the classical theory of elasticity and plasticity.
