Annotation:

The article presents the results of research on the activities of a gas transportation organization (GTO) using statistical control instruments and applying modern technologies. The analysis of the causes and sources of the key performance of the quality – indicator (KPI), their distribution across the main zones and within the areas of responsibility (manufacturing plant, Russian Railways, technological zone, trader) is carried out. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations are formulated that improve and increase the GTO efficiency by reducing the costs caused by this indicator. According to the data obtained, when comparing the activities of the GTO for 2017 and 2018, the effect was expressed in a reduction in costs by more than 24 million rubles.
