Annotation:

For oil transformers used for power supply to oil production consumers, thermal parameters, mechanical and electrical influence are the most important indicators. The technical state of transformers is determined by application of well-known methods and test methods, and the task of assessing the technical state is currently assigned to automated systems. The adequacy of the output parameters and hence the accuracy of the forecast of the residual resource depends on the methods embedded in the automated systems. As it is known, each method has its advantages and disadvantages. The objective of the authors' research is to compare and select a computational model for predicting the residual life of oil transformers. The authors propose to combine several factors to predict the residual life-time of oil transformers. The proposed algorithm and the calculation model can be used in the development of automated non-destructive testing of oil transformers technical condition, which will allow proceeding to timely maintenance and repair of transformers according to the actual technical condition.
