Annotation:

Ratchet mechanisms are rather widely used in mechanical engineering. The main advantage of such mechanisms is the relatively low required accuracy and manufacturing cost. Therefore, an urgent task is to develop methods and software tools that would improve the efficiency of designing and modeling ratchet mechanisms. The article presents an overview of design options for ratchet mechanisms used in modern mechanical engineering. The results of computer modeling and calculation of mechanisms elements using CAD systems are presented. The simulation results allow the production of ratchet mechanism parts using 3D printing.
