Annotation:

The article presents the results of the authors' research on promising directions for the further development of options for milled cutting structures of roller-cone drill bits simultaneously, both from the point of view of the dynamics of rock destruction and from the point of view of teeth wear resistance during drilling. The further prospects of using some solutions that have already been tested and made it possible to increase the performance indicators of drill bits with milled cutting structures of roller-cone drill bits, with getting a significant economic effect were analyzed. For various reasons, these drill bits have not been widely used in well drilling. However, a lot of energy, time and money have already been spent on their development, research and introduction. This article is devoted to a part of such effective solutions that had a world novelty, developed, patented and successfully tested in our country.
