Annotation:

The most common unfavorable production factor affecting the personnel of compressor stations is acoustic noise, the source of which is gas compressor units and various objects of the main technological equipment (gas processing, purification, cooling units, technological pipelines, etc.). More than 80 % of the staff works in conditions of increased noise, due to which enterprises incur significant material costs for the payment of salary allowances to compensate for unfavorable working conditions. In the gas industry, a wide range of measures and means aimed at reducing industrial acoustic noise at compressor stations, in particular, personal hearing protection device, are being applied and developed. The article considers the results of measurements and evaluation of the impact on the hearing organs of acoustic noise at the compressor station when using headphones.
