Annotation:

The article proposes methodological solutions to justify the choice of optimal development schemes for offshore multilayer fields. The Leningradskoye field is taken as the object for consideration. The net present value (NPV) is taken as the main criterion for optimizing the scheme of multilayer offshore fields’ development. It is shown that since the total NPV dependence on the maximum production levels of certain reservoirs when developing offshore multilayer oil and gas fields has extremums, then there exist technical-technological solutions for ensuring maximum efficiency of such fields’ development by means of appropriate selection of maximum production levels of certain reservoirs. When developing individual reservoirs from the platform to ensure maximum value of NPV, the reservoirs with relatively smaller reserves should be initially subjected to development, because later, when developing reservoirs with larger reserves, maximum production levels will be higher, and major capital investments have already been made.
