Annotation:

In the process of extraction and preparation, oil is mixed with water twice, forming resistant oil-water emulsions: when exiting the well at high speed together with the accompanying reservoir water and in the course of desalination, i.e. washing oil by fresh water to remove salts. Thus, a sufficiently large number of resistant oil-water emulsions are formed, which require availability of additional equipment and modern technologies for their separation. In order to find effective methods and means of oil-water emulsions separation, there is a necessity of manufacturing the latter ones with predetermined properties and a quantitative ratio of oil and water in the laboratory. This article is devoted to the creation of resistant oil-water emulsions by applying mechanical and mechanical-magnetic methods. In the course of this study, different modes of oil and water mixing were used, and their proportions during mixing. The results obtained are presented, which show the positive dynamics of the mechanical-magnetic method application for creating resistant oil-water emulsions.
