Annotation:

Technological processes of geophysical wells surveying have been enriched in recent years by new methods that allow real-time video filming and transmitting the information received to the control and management center of oil and gas wells. Thanks to the possibilities of special video cameras lowered into the well using a geophysical cable, it is possible to obtain both a complete black-and-white and color image of the technical condition of the pipe column and equipment, detect damage and blockages, make an informed decision on the necessity of a well repair and further operation. Among the innovative methods used to assess wells technical state is the method of tele-inspection (video cards). Wells tele-inspection allows reasonable choosing the methods of repair and restoration work in wells, as incorrect decisions can lead to additional financial costs and unsatisfactory results of the work. The article presents the main results of the experience of using the tele-inspection method to assess the technical state of oil and gas wells in Azerbaijan.
