Annotation:

The issues related to the rational use of low flow-rate oil wells when operating the Urengoy oil and gas condensate field are considered. The futility of carrying out geological-technical measures on low flow-rate and inactive oil wells is shown. The problem of incomplete utilization of the production capacity of field facilities is raised, which leads to a decrease in the efficiency of separation equipment and makes it impossible to carry out the process of field preparation at a high quality level. A method for the efficient use of wells stock and separation equipment is proposed, which is based on the transfer of low flow-rate oil wells to the operation of gas condensate facilities. This method will maximize the recovery factor of gas condensate without attracting significant capital investments. The main criteria for assessing the feasibility of converting oil wells to operate gas condensate facilities are presented. The most suitable wells for conversion have been identified. The results of the implementation of the wells conversion program which confirmed its prospects are presented. The involvement of unpromising oil wells in the development system of gas condensate facilities will make it possible to achieve the highest possible hydrocarbon recovery factors and fully utilize the production capacity of field facilities.
