Annotation:

In modern conditions, when extracting minerals in hard rocks, a drilling and blasting method is used to penetrate deposits applying a percussion-rotary drilling method. Designing the configuration and the flushing system (FS) device is one of the most important stages of a drill bit design. One of the approaches to identifying the required dependencies is the use of modern computer-aided engineering (CAE) systems. Applying the existing methods for assessing the FS effectiveness, one can only obtain a probabilistic forecast of the effectiveness of the design used. At the stage of carrying out research work, it is necessary to quickly obtain a prototype of the product. Modern AM technologies are designed to solve the problem of rapid prototyping.
