Annotation:

The article explores the hydrodynamic aspects associated with the pumping of diesel fuel at low temperatures. The primary focus is on analyzing factors leading to fuel solidification and its state changes at different stages. Additionally, methods for modeling the flow of non-Newtonian fluids using the power-law Ostwald's equation are examined. Experimental studies were conducted to validate these methods and algorithms. A specialized laboratory setup was developed for pumping petroleum products at low temperatures, enabling the collection of data on hydrodynamic losses in the turbulent regime within hydraulically smooth pipes. Numerical values of the hydraulic resistance coefficient for varying flow velocities in this environment were determined during the calculations. The obtained information is crucial for assessing the efficiency of pumping processes when dealing with diesel fuel under low-temperature conditions.
