Annotation:
The article is devoted to the experience of using the results of geomechanical modeling in the development of oil deposits in the Republic of Belarus. Currently one of the most widely-spread oil enhancing methods is a hydraulic fracturing of a formation. Stimulated reservoir volume and tensile fracture vector with respect to the direction of a wellbore play a major role in production of oil. The authors of the article present an approach to assessing the wellbore azimutal direction planning relative to the vectors of formations horizontal tress states. The authors of the article describe the process of determining the vector of principal horizontal stresses on the example of subsalt terrigenous sediments of Barsukovskoye oil field based on the results of geomechanical 3D-modeling using data from microseismic monitoring of hydraulic fracturing (fracking). The performed researchers resulted in determining some dependence between the direction of wells drilling relative to the vector of maximum horizontal stress and the accumulated oil production, taking into account the aggressiveness of hydraulic fracturing, for subsalt terrigenous oil deposits of the Pripyat Trough.
