The issues of introducing digital technologies into the processes of oil production and transportation are gaining increasing popularity at the moment. In particular, taking into account the transition of most wells to later stages of development, there arise the question of modeling the process of formation of asphalt, resin, and paraffin deposits in wells and linear pipelines. Accumulations of asphalt, resin, and paraffin deposits lead to a decrease of the hydraulic radius, as a result of which energy costs for equipment and working processes increase, including increased risks of emergency situations occurrence. The authors of the article present a methodology for creating and setting up models for the formation of asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits, developed on the basis of the GiRNGM Scientific and Research Center. Laboratory studies are carried out on real oil samples from 3 to 7 days in order to determine the initial dynamics of deposits formation. Then, using our own software "Engineering Simulator of Technological Processes", the model is validated on 1…5 wells taken from the same fields and formations. As the number of wells goes up, the accuracy of the models increases significantly. During the research, it was noticed that when validating the model on three wells, an acceptable convergence of the calculated values with the actual ones is achieved. As a result, the relative deviation of the adjusted models does not exceed 5 %. It is worth noting that the validation was carried out on wells with different operating methods and flow rates.
