Annotation:
The authors of the article consider problems that arose at the early stage of the Bovanenkovskoye field operation, the largest in Yamal: gas manifestations at the production wellheads and fluid accumulation at the bottom of them. The main ways to solve them are discussed. Well designs and wellhead equipment to avoid gas manifestations were reviewed. They allow minimizing heat exchange between the production flow in the well and surrounding permafrost. Modeling of processes from the wellhead to the productive formation was chosen as a method for assessing the effectiveness of each specific method of combating fluid accumulation. An approximate hydrodynamic model and a well model was built, using which calculations were carried out in order to determine the most rational set of geological-technological measures.
