The article investigates the hydrodynamic aspects associated with the pumping of diesel fuel (DF) at low-temperature conditions. An analysis of research results on DF of Chinese and Russian production was conducted. During the study, experimental investigations of various rheological parameters of DF were carried out, providing valuable information about the behavior of the fuel under non-standard conditions. The methodology for determining rheological parameters was thoroughly examined, particularly in cases where DF deviates from Newton's law of viscous friction. This deviation is characterized by changes in the behavior of the fuel under low temperatures and pressure, which is critically important for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of fuel pumping. The obtained results can be used in the creation and optimization of hydrodynamic models for low-temperature pumping of petroleum products through mobile pipeline systems. In particular, such models can be applied in systems using lay-flat hoses, which provide flexibility and mobility of pipeline solutions under challenging operational conditions. The authors of the article emphasize the importance of these studies for the development and enhancement of modern pipeline systems used in harsh climatic conditions, such as in northern and Arctic regions. The results of the work can contribute to the improvement of the technical characteristics of DF transportation, which in turn can increase the economic efficiency and safety of the operation of such systems.
