Annotation:
The authors of the article present the results of calculations of NK-16ST, NK-16-18ST gas turbine engines (GTE) operating modes as part of GCU-Ts-16 gas compressor units (GCU) at ambient temperatures below 5 °C. The GCU energy efficiency under conditions of possible icing of the blades of the inlet guide vane unit (IGVU) and spinner was analyzed and assessed. A technical solution has been proposed to improve the automatic control system (ACS) of the gas compressing unit – control of the anti-icing system (AIS) of NK-16ST, NK-16-18ST gas turbine engines (GTE).
