This article discusses the possibility of diagnosing and monitoring the installation condition of an electrically driven submersible pump (EDSP) using signature analysis of the electric motor current using the example of such faults as imbalance and supply failure. A description of the technology for signature analysis of electrical signals from an electric motor is given, as well as methods for diagnosing imbalance of the rotor of an electrically driven submersible pump (ESP) and failure of the ESP supply when there is an increased gas content at the pump inlet. The article presents the results of bench tests of electric motors using a standard asynchronous electric motor (EM) as a drive. Based on the results of the analysis of the obtained dependencies, a conclusion was made about the prospects for using signature analysis of current in fields for the purpose of diagnostics and predictive analysis of the state of EDSP.
