Annotation:
Cyclone dust collectors are widely used in natural gas treatment systems of compressor stations (CS) of gas trunk pipelines (GTP). Gas supply through linear and booster compressor stations (CS) as well as compressor stations (CS) of underground gas storage facilities can significantly change during operation. In this regard, to ensure the quality of natural gas purification at CS, it is necessary to effectively regulate the operational modes of cyclone dust collectors. Natural gas purification systems at CS of GTP in conditions of gas supply change through the gas pipeline are adjusted by putting into operation or disconnecting cyclone dust collectors. The gas dynamic characteristics of cyclone dust collectors should be used when making decisions on putting into operation or disconnection of cyclone dust collectors. Currently, the passport hydrodynamic characteristics of cyclone dust collectors, presented by manufacturers, are used to regulate the operational modes of treatment systems at CS throughout the entire service life of dust collectors. However, the results of gas dynamic inspection of natural gas treatment systems at compressor stations show that the technical condition of cyclone dust collectors during operation changes significantly, thus requiring adjustment of passport hydrodynamic characteristics of cyclone dust collectors. Determination of the technical state and actual characteristics of cyclone dust collectors requires their periodical inspection under operating conditions. The application of gas dynamic inspections results makes it possible to optimize the process of purification systems regulation, which, as a result, can simultaneously improve the reliability of operation of the equipment of GTP by improving the quality of natural gas purification and contribute to the reduction of energy costs for gas transportation.
