Annotation:
The authors of the article analyze the current system of maintenance and repair of industrial gas turbine engines and the prospects for its development. The strengths and weaknesses of the current maintenance and repair system are considered, its effectiveness is analyzed by calculating the average repair time of gas turbine engines in the factory and the total downtime, the approach of global gas turbine equipment manufacturers to maintenance is studied, "condition-based repair" service strategy has been studied and conceptually outlined as part of the transition to life-cycle contract service, examples of the implementation of its intermediate stages are given as well as problematic issues are formed.
