Basic principles of a well life cycle methodology

Annotation:
The author of the article presents the basic principles of a well life cycle methodology. It is shown that its practical application allows structuring various aspects of hydrocarbon well production activities, systematically links all stages of a well life cycle and associated processes. The importance of a well life cycle methodology has increased due to the digitalization of the oil and gas industry and the use of artificial intelligence systems. One of the conditions of their effective application is the semantic compatibility of information resources, in particular SMART standards. Specific examples prove the fact that some regulatory documents and scientific texts contain unjustified deviations from the well life cycle methodology. Such documents cannot be used as digital information resources for creating SMART standards. A required condition for achieving compatibility of information resources is the use of a well life cycle methodology of their life cycle creation.
