Annotation:

The authors of the article consider the practical aspects of the technical-economic assessment of the efficiency of using additional systems for cooling cycle air of gas turbine units (GTU) based on absorption lithium bromide refrigeration machines (ALBRM) for compressor stations of main gas pipelines. An approach has been developed to determine the fuel gas savings of a gas turbine drive of gas pumping units (GPU) for various technical solutions of an additional cooling system during the operation of a compressor station at elevated ambient temperatures. A comprehensive indicator of projects economic efficiency in the form of a criterion for minimizing costs (minimum capital costs with maximum savings of operational costs) was selected and substantiated.
