Annotation:

In order to identify the patterns of reservoirs development in the interval of the Upper Jurassic deposits of the West Siberian oil- and gas-bearing basin and for further planning of cost-effective development, the results of laboratory core researches and the data, obtained during well logging methods were comprehensively analyzed, and a method for interpreting data from a limited set of radioactive logging of the old well stock was developed and tested in the target interval of the reservoir. The obtained results of the well logging interpretation for a large number of wells in the interval of the Upper Jurassic deposits at three fields made it possible to substantiate the regularities of the reservoirs distribution in the reservoir interval and area. The results of the analysis formed the basis for the 3D geological model development of the Upper Jurassic deposits, on the basis of which the planning of the placement of new directional and horizontal wells as well as the calculation of oil and hydrocarbon resources is carried out. The results of new drilled wells testing confirm the high quality of the well testing carried out according to the methodology proposed in the paper, and the high predictive ability of the geological model. The implementation of the developed algorithm made it possible to conduct large-scale studies of the section structure of the Upper Jurassic deposits in the territory of three fields in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous territory, which contributed to an efficiency increase of their development.
