Annotation:
When analyzing the results of laboratory determinations of capillary pressure curves and relative phase permeabilities for oil and water (RPP), for the purposes of geological and hydrodynamic modeling, there exists a problem of the initial data compatibility obtained from core samples with significant variability of filtration-capacitive properties (reservoir characteristics) caused by texture and structural heterogeneity. An additional complexity arises when the data are integrated from the core of the same reservoir in different laboratories under different experimental conditions. The article discusses a method for building empirical curves of capillary pressure and relative permeability for oil and water based on a comprehensive analysis of the corresponding initial results of laboratory studies. The application of this method allows, for a given value of absolute permeability, obtaining consistent empirically calculated curves of capillary pressure and relative permeability associated with the accepted geological and physical characteristics of the studied deposits.
