Annotation:

The laboratory studying of the rock geological-mechanical properties is an important task the fulfillment of which is required for understanding the deformation processes occurring in the reservoir. The relevance of studying reservoir rocks deformations is caused by the influence of these processes on the following: the rock filtration-capacitive properties (reservoir characteristics), stress-strain state of near-well zones of the rock massif, clarification of calculations of planned geological-technical measures in the well. One of the generally accepted methods of rocks strength properties description is a rock strength certificate. The article considers various methods of building of a rock strength certificate, based on the results of studying the strength properties of core samples in reservoir conditions. The main advantages and disadvantages of the methods are considered.
