Annotation:
Nowadays, an integral part of the process of hydrocarbon reservoirs modeling is the creation of a three-dimensional geological model. Modern reality indicates the necessity of the geological model refinement, which leads to its significant complication. In some cases, the refinement process leads to a complete revision of the previously used conceptual model underlying it. All these facts cause the necessity of abandoning standard approaches to volumetric modeling and search for non-trivial solutions, thus affecting both the preparation of initial data and other parts of the modeling process.
The article briefly describes the experience of building a 3D structural framework in conditions of polyfacial alluvial deposits. The proposed approach made it possible to implement the underlying concept, display the features of the reservoir occurrence and significantly facilitate further parametric modeling.
