Reef deposits are traditionally considered to be challenging development targets, especially at the final stages, when additional activities are required to maintain production rate. During operation, understanding of the geological structure of the reef itself and the internal fluid hydrodynamic system may differ significantly from the initial idea. It turned out that implementation of reservoir pressure maintenance measures in one of the reefs caused reservoir pressure increase in the neighboring reef. Organogenic structures are characterized by a complex ratio of various voids: porous, cavernous and fractured, which brings the ambiguous distribution of reservoirs of various groups directly in the reef massive itself. In such a situation, the analog principle does not always work and a more deep and comprehensive approach is required to study a reef object and solve problems that arise during the development process. The article briefly describes the features of the geological structure of the reefs and its reservoir, the development features identified during the operation and the faulting on the reef deposits development.
