Annotation:

The influence of rocks mineralogical composition on the microstructural wettability was studied on core samples from the Talinskaya area of the Krasnoleninskoye field.

It is proved that microstructural wettability depends on the coefficient of heterogeneity, the median grain size and the composition of the core samples cementing material. Thus, the inhomogeneity coefficient increase causes the microstructural wettability decreases, and the increase of the median grain size brings its growth.

The cementing material in core samples, namely calcite, dolomite, quartz, feldspars, kaolinite, hydromica, mixed-layer (montmorillonite-hydromica), chlorite, also affects microstructural wettability. Thus, the transition of the clay fraction composition from kaolinite to montmorillonite leads to microstructural wettability increase.
