Modeling of hydrodynamic processes in the conditions of substandard reservoirs development by wells with hydraulic fracturing

Annotation:

The introduction of low-permeable shale reservoirs that are not identified in accordance with the current understanding of geology and geophysics imposes new requirements on 3D hydrodynamic models. A negative factor in such models development is the uncertainty of cutting off of porosity lower limit when identifying reservoirs. The petrophysical model, built based on the results of the core material analysis, made it possible to reduce the reservoir/non-reservoir boundary in terms of porosity up to 7 %. The adjustment of the filtration model showed the consistency of the boundary value of porosity of 7 % with the field results of the operation of wells with hydraulic fracturing. It made it possible to use a hydrodynamic model for solving optimization problems when substantiating the technology for drilling horizontal wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing in substandard reservoirs.
