Annotation:

In 2020–2021 two large-scale shutdowns of producing wells fund were carried out at one of the fields of the Komi Republic, which have had no analogues for more than 40 years of the deposit development.

The authors found out that the actual oil losses caused by the shutdowns exceed those expected ones, and therefore, a hypothesis was put forward about the presence of interference – the redistribution of fluids between the shutdown production wells and their surroundings ("reacting" wells).

A technique for forming a sample of wells for interference analysis is proposed. The interference in the system "stopped–reacting wells" was analyzed. The regularities are revealed that caused a decrease of oil production and an increase of water cut of "reactive" wells. The value of oil losses directly due to the interference is highlighted. The economic losses from the interference are calculated.

Measures have been developed to reduce oil losses from the interference in case of wells repeated shutdowns.
