Annotation:

Lithological and hydrogeochemical aspects of the study and specific features of oil and gas resources development, concentrated in the saline reservoirs are considered on the example of oil- and gas-bearing regions of Belarus and the southern part of the Eastern Siberia of the Russian Federation. It is shown that the secondary halite wide-spreading in the void space of terrigenous and carbonate rocks necessitates the use of special methods and technologies for their study in order to correct the geological foundations of the development of oil and gas objects associated with reservoirs complicated by salinization.
