Annotation:

Currently, hard-to-recover oil reserves, confined to low-permeable, poorly-drained, heterogeneous and dissected reservoirs, are widely involved in development. One of the effective methods for increasing the productivity of wells that open such reservoirs and increase the rate of oil recovery out of them is hydraulic fracturing.

The object of the study in this article is the Ach4 facility of the Imilor field. The purpose of the study is to develop criteria for the applicability of hydraulic fracturing technologies, depending on the geological-physical features of the site. The object under consideration belongs to the category of hard-to-recover reserves, and hydraulic fracturing is complicated by the presence of the overlying, as a rule, water-saturated reservoir Ach3. The geological-physical characteristics of the Ach4 facility in this area are very variable.

The following tasks were performed during the work:

• analysis of the facility geological conditions;

• analysis of the efficiency of the applied hydraulic fracturing technologies;

• analysis of the economic indicators of the considered technologies;

• development of the criteria for the hydraulic fracturing technologies applicability at this facility.
