Annotation:
The article presents the results of the analysis of drilling wells in the faulting zone of the Karlovo-Sytovskoye field. The features of wells drilling in the faulting zone and adjacent rock massifs are studied. It is noted that the total drilling fluid absorption in the Neogene, Permian and Carboniferous deposits during wells drilling is associated with the features of sedimentation on the Zhiguli-Pugachev vault. Zones of unstable and destroyed rocks are present in the section, but they do not create increased risks of geological complications during drilling.
The wells at the Karlovo-Sytovskoye field in the faulting zone caused by the rocks thrust were constructed without additional technical-technological measures used for preventing any possible complications.
