Annotation:

The article shows for the first time the complex structure of the upper part of the sedimentary cover (Mesozoic deposits) in the area of the Kzyl-Akrap structural zone in the extreme south of the Samara region. Triassic deposits were distinguished from the previously undivided Permian-Triassic sequence, elements of scaly folding were noted for the first time, and the lithological-stratigraphic structure of the Mesozoic part of the sedimentary cover was refined. An in-depth study of the geological situation showed that the Mesozoic deposits in the extreme south of the Samara region have a complex tectonic development.
