Annotation:

The objects of scientific research are prepared structures in the Perm Region territory, removed from exploratory drilling from 1997 up to 2021. The relevance of the research is caused by the necessity of a reliable assessment of the promising structures resource base. The reliability coefficient and the confirmability coefficient are important indicators of the geological exploration efficiency.

The article retrospectively analyzes the changes of the reliability and confirmability coefficients, covering about 250 prepared structures removed from exploratory drilling from 1997 up to 2021 in the Perm Region. The maps of the changes of the resources total reliability and confirmability of all oil- and gas-bearing complexes at the time of the field discovery and on 01.01.2023 according to the density and volume estimation methods are built in the “Isoline” software. The analysis of the coefficients change maps resulted in revealing oil- and gas-bearing zones in the territory of the Perm Region, characterized by the greatest error in the estimation of hydrocarbon resources.

In addition, the main factors that reduce the degree of reliability and confirmability of resources for the Middle Carboniferous, Visean and Tourne-Famen deposits in the territory of the Bashkir arch have been identified.

Taking into account the revealed reasons, hydrocarbon resources were revaluated in the identified and prepared structures located within the Bashkir arch.
