Annotation:

Tracer tests is one of the sources of information about filtration processes in inter-well areas. However, results of researches and literature analysis in most cases indicate the presence of abnormally high permeability values even in reservoirs with a simple structure of poro media, which are not confirmed by subsequent drilling of wells. Traditional algorithms do not take into account changes in saturation of channels through which the tracer reaches production wells. In this case, the higher the degree of flushing of the channel with water, the lower the resistance to the movement of the injected agent, and starting from a certain value of water saturation, the speed of the tracer will be higher than the speed of water injected into formation. Overestimated permeability values may be due to the direct use of filtration rate in calculations. In the article it was studied the phenomenon of overestimated values of filtration characteristics based on one produced reservoir. It was used transition from the tracer speed to the speed of injected water after its breakthrough in calculations of permeability assessment. Based on the calculation results, recommendations were given for adjusting pressure maintenance system.
