Annotation:

Adaptation of the Gazprom dobycha Urengoy LLC activities to rising temperature and degradation of permafrost soils on Urengoy field territory provides for scientific-methodological substantiation of the system of geotechnical monitoring and production facilities engineering protection in the context of global warming. In this case, the leading role is given to researches aimed at assessing the vulnerability of structures to changes in geocryological conditions, which makes it possible to identify the key problems of individual deposits in various landscape zones and to rank enterprises adaptation priorities. In order to manage risks for vulnerable types of foundations identified when assessing the vulnerability of structures, adequate technical solutions for managing soils temperature regimes are being developed. The effectiveness of assessing the vulnerability of structures and the adopted technical solutions on soils temperature stabilization are monitored by observations within the framework of geotechnical monitoring. The composition, volume and frequency of geotechnical monitoring are assigned taking into account the degree of the monitoring objects vulnerability.
