Annotation:

The authors of the article use theoretical and empirical dependencies that approximately express the oil reservoir properties. Theoretical dependencies characterize the essence of the observed phenomena and processes. The interconnection of the parameters involved in them is notable. Theoretical dependencies include, for example, the Darcy and Poiseuille equations.

Empirical dependencies are approximated by simple equations. The values of these equations parameters indirectly reflect the role of processes and phenomena that are difficult to identify explicitly. Usually have no obvious physical meaning.

Based on the Darcy – Poiseuille equations and the empirical relationship between porosity and permeability, the authors of the article obtained equations of capillaries distribution according to permeability and porosity as well as the density of capillaries distribution by permeability and porosity.
