Annotation:

The authors of the article consider the model of the Achimov formation structure using three clinoforms, developed in the Yamburg field section as an example. Obvious factors of occurrence of abnormally high formation pressures (AHFP) such as deep fluid migration, lithological type of hydrocarbon traps is demonstrated as well as the area of their distribution in the section of the Achimov formation and the Middle Jurassic deposits of Western Siberia is shown.

The standard approach to reservoirs allocation by the GIS complex is based on the use of qualitative features and quantitative criteria of their allocation. In conditions of AHFP, standard approaches to GIS data interpretation are not always applicable, and direct qualitative features are often absent. Quantitative criteria (boundary values of the porosity coefficient) allow identifying effective thicknesses (reservoir).
