Annotation:

Thin-layered collectors are lithologically represented by frequent layering of sand-siltstone and clays differences with interlayer thickness from several millimeters to centimeters. The intervals of thin-layered collectors with a standard quantitative interpretation, based on the accepted boundary values of geophysical parameters, are often referred to impermeable rocks. Nevertheless, these intervals are actively involved in the development, there are numerous examples of wells successful operation from the intervals of thin-layered collectors. The authors of the article consider approaches to the study of productive objects with a thin-layered collectors: from a detailed study of core material and the introduction of advanced technologies in the field from oilfield geophysics to digital modeling.
