Annotation:

The author of the article studies the Lower Cretaceous dinocyst complexes of the northern part of the Caspian region. The study consisted in comparing the revealed complexes in the northern and southern parts of the Racushechno-Shirotnaya uplift system. There observed a slight difference in the occurrence of dinocyst indexes species in the complexes of the two territories and poor species diversity of algal flora in the northern part of the uplift system, which is probably caused by paleo-geographic conditions. The analysis is carried out for forming a unified scheme of biostratigraphic breakdown of the Lower Cretaceous sediments by dinocysts for this region and requires further studying.
