Annotation:
Experimentally, in laboratory conditions, statistical error of pressure single measurement by three types of borehole manometers under the pressure approximately equal to 200 kgf/cm2 and standard temperature. The data obtained were processed by using well-known methods of mathematical statistics. The obtained values of standard deviations were compared with the values of root-mean-square deviations (RMSD) of pressure stabilization drawdown curves calculated for a single vertical well, located in formations of three different structures: homogeneous, with impermeable fault or highly permeable fault with different permeability. The distance between the well and the fault in all formation variants varied from 100 to 500 m.
The obtained statistical error of the single pressure measurement by various types of borehole manometers was 10–200 times less then RMSD values and therefore it cannot prevent the identification and determination of the fault filtration characteristics.
