Annotation:
The authors of the article examine the Tunguska oil- and gas-bearing province, one of the promising oil- and gas-bearing areas in the Eastern Siberia. In the history of the formation of this region, trap volcanism manifested itself at the end of the Permian – beginning of the Triassic ages. Two structural levels are distinguished in the section: the basement (Archean–Lower Proterozoic) and the Riphean-Phanerozoic sedimentary cover. During the field routes Paleozoic and Mesozoic deposits of the north-western part of the Maymecha mega-protrusion and the north-eastern end of the Putorana plateau were studied.
